WHO WE ARE ?

London, December 2000

It was a cold winter night; a man and a woman were about to end another hard working day.
In that restaurant with wide windows where few moments ago the atmosphere was filled by voices of people that were letting themselves tempted by the most noble of the sins: the gluttony.
Where the hot dishes and the wine glasses were the main protagonists, now the silence covered it all.
Outside in the cold the foxes were wandering around searching for an easy meal meanwhile in the empty hall, which was starting to lose the heat, Zaida was making the tables ready for the next day. While Maurizio was in the kitchen preparing the well deserved midnight dinner, he was meditating about one of the most ancient of the dilemmas: What’s the meaning of life?

Once they sat down and started giving pleasure to the sense of taste with a chestnut filled raviolis with truffle sauce, followed by lamb chops with mint sauce, all drowned with a barbaresco reserve ’90, the answer at the ancient dilemma came on its own.

It was during that cold night of the year 2000 after few wine glasses that the concept of the Posada Aloe started to come alive.

A small hotel in a dreams place.
Sun & sea and uncontaminated nature.

Today the dream came true

Zaida and Maurizio, they use their experience and the good taste for the details towards those who want to escape from cities stressful lives, relaxing in the tranquillity of their posada; towards those who wants to switch off their mobile phones and forget problems and things to do lying down on white sandy beaches with plenty of coconut trees and washed by warm and crystal clear water surrounded by coral reefs with sparkling life.

The ancient dilemma may not have certain answers but we live only one life and we have to make worth every page of the book that we daily write that tells the story of each of us and we should give more value to the nice things the earth has to offer. One of those is the Morrocoy National Park and its paradisical cayes.
